Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga w. Ellie

All classes are mixed level- open to very beginners, life-time yogis, and everyone in between. Modifications will always be offered to fit your personal practice. Classes involve asana (physical poses), pranyama (breathwork), and meditation.


Hatha translates into sun-moon, which refers to the balancing of the sun (activity, heat) and moon (receptive, cool) qualities within us. It is a practice which combines physical poses, breath work, and meditation to create harmony in the body, mind, and soul. Vinyasa is a yoga sequence that flows from pose to pose in conjunction with your breath.The benefits beyond inner balance are endless; calms nervous system, builds muscle strength, improves immune & digestive systems, bone health, spinal health, mental health, posture, flexibility, range of motion, and so much more.


I am currently on a teaching hiatus while I finish my dance degree. I plan to open a movement arts studio somewhere in New England in the next few years.
